We’re pleased to share that Ofsted recently completed a monitoring inspection of our school and found that ‘leaders are providing a highly effective education provision for all pupils at this time of national lockdown’.

They also said that ‘leaders and those responsible for governance are taking effective action to provide education in the current circumstances’ and ‘have focused on developing the curriculum to better match the needs of pupils’.

We’re proud to see our team’s hard work and commitment being recognised as our school goes from strength to strength. We have been focusing on making sure every child receives an excellent education. Ofsted recognised this by saying that ‘leaders place a high priority on reading’ and across our subjects, ‘the key language pupils need to know is identified and taught’ and our ‘curriculum’s content is well sequenced’.

We have been committed to ensuring our SEND pupils have received the support required during lockdown. Ofsted acknowledged that our ‘SENCo works with teachers and the inclusion team to ensure that pupils with SEND receive a programme of tailored support’. Adding: ‘Where pupils with SEND remain at home, staff deliver resources and provide regular one-to-one interventions to help meet pupils’ needs.’
